Zibrant are climbing the Three Peaks!
On September 20th and 21st 2007 we will simultaneously be climbing and raising money for Oxfam Unwrapped, Mountain Rescue, Meeting Needs and a local charity (tbc) nominated by our staff.
We'll start at Ben Nevis in Scotland, which will take about 5 hours to climb, and then drive to Scafell Pike in England with a climbing time of 4 hours; we'll complete the final mountain, which is Snowdon in Wales, in 4 hours. Total climbing time of 13 hours and a travelling time between peaks of 10 hours, leaving just one hour spare for all eventualities!
So are you up for the challenge?
We want 5 Zibrant teams, 4 client teams, 3 supplier teams, 1 Meetings & Incentive Travel Magazine (M&IT) team and 1 Institute of Travel Management (ITM) team to take on this challenge; each team will consist of five members, one driver and four climbers. Once you’ve got your team, together you will have to commit to raise a minimum of £2,000.
Why are we climbing ?
Fay Sharpe, Head of Zibrant’s CSR committee and Sales & Marketing Director comments, “fitness has never been something that comes naturally to me, so when my team suggested the Three Peaks Challenge as part of our CSR programme, I just had to ask why, especially as I would be expected to lead the way! The answer was simple, it’s a real Zibrant thing to do; Corporate Social Responsibility is central to us at Zibrant and this is a great opportunity to share our values with you, our clients, suppliers and staff; we can demonstrate how we live our values in a very tangible way whilst raising awareness and money for our chosen charities and I couldn’t agree further!”
Of course you may need to know more before you can fully commit yourself to the challenge at hand!
